We are excited to welcome Dr. Pryor Brenner as the newest member of our medical staff. Dr. Brenner is a native of the Eastern Shore, having been born and raised in Delaware. Dr. Brenner went on to attend the United States Air Force Academy where he graduated as a Distinguished Graduate in 1999.

Dr. Brenner attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2003. He completed a surgical internship at Keesler Medical Center, in Biloxi Mississippi. He then served as a Flight Surgeon at Andrews Air Force Base from 2004-2006. During this time, he was deployed to Iraq where he provided expert medical care to active-duty personnel and local nationals.

Dr. Brenner then completed his residency in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery in San Antonio, Texas. He received world-class training in head and neck cancer surgery at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. His training included a focus on obstructive sleep apnea and complex sinus disease and surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Brenner continued his active-duty service in the Air Force while stationed at Andrews Air Force Base as an otolaryngologist. He was deployed to Afghanistan as the only ENT surgeon in the country, providing expert care to wounded soldiers, as well as providing life-changing humanitarian care to civilians and children.

In addition to providing general ENT care, Dr. Brenner treats complex nasal and sinus disorders, including advanced sinus surgery, and nasal reconstruction; he has special interests in endocrine surgery (thyroid and parathyroid disorders), and facial trauma reconstruction. He also has a special interest in the management of sleep disorders including snoring and sleep apnea in pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Brenner is actively educating the next generation of physicians, teaching medical students and residents.

Dr. Brenner strives to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere by treating every patient like family. He treats both medical and surgical issues in patients of all ages.

Dr. Brenner is married to his wife of 21 years and resides in Bethesda where they raise their 7 children. His children are all very active with a heavy interest in gymnastics. The family also enjoys outdoors activities including camping, fishing, and hiking.
