Dr. Rachel Hosse

Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)

Dr. Rachel Hosse is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She attended Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  Dr. Hosse went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA.  She completed her clinical fellowship year at Audibel Hearing Healthcare in Baton Rouge, LA.

Following graduation, Dr. Hosse joined the audiology staff at Audibel Hearing Healthcare.  While working in private practice, she provided comprehensive hearing evaluations, selection and fitting of amplification, and aural rehabilitation services for patients of all ages.

Dr. Hosse joined the team at Chevy Chase ENT & Audiology Associates in 2023.  Her areas of expertise include adult and geriatric diagnostic evaluations, selection and fitting of amplification, and aural rehabilitation of diverse populations.  She also has extensive experience working with tinnitus and noise-induced hearing loss.  Dr. Hosse is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based hearing healthcare for her patients and their families.  She brings a passion for excellence and is committed to delivering comprehensive hearing solutions to fit each patient’s lifestyle and specific needs.

Dr. Hosse is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the Maryland Board of Examiners.  She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the Alpha Eta National Honors Society.  Dr. Hosse routinely attends continuing education seminars to stay updated on the latest technology and advancements in hearing healthcare, allowing her to provide the highest quality of care to her patients and their families.

Dr. Hosse moved to the Bethesda area in 2023 with her husband and beloved Labrador retriever, Abbey.  She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors in her spare time.
